Leadership workshop for West Guale CLCs

West Guadalcanal CLCs held their D/Clan meeting on the 24th to 28th March 2011 under the good coordination of their provincial learning coordinator Mr. Jerome. The participants were mainly the management board of the 4 CLCs in the west Guadalcanal. Attending the workshop also two staffs from Honiara office, Mr Galo Lukisi (grant officer) and Mr. Wilton Laufiu (capacity development officer). During the workshop the participants were updated on the small grant scheme of the project and also learnt about the approach to identify trainings. That will encourage community participation and involvement. And during the last two days of the workshop the participants learn about leadership skills. The training took five days and was conducted at tambea community in the west Gudalcanal. The participants expressed the workshop as timely and another way forward for them in manning their CLCs.
